Research became

A long engineering path to a small, precise jet.Finepart grew from Swedish research into abrasive waterjet machining and a conviction that the process could become a true precision manufacturing tool.
From research to Finecut
Industry projects and collaboration with Jan Ryd and Don Miller lead to Finecut development: a compact tool concept with a jet diameter down to approximately 0.2 mm and an enclosed, operator-focused machine design.
The machine meets the market
The Finecut concept is introduced publicly in Stockholm and at Blechexpo in Stuttgart, demonstrating a new route to precision cutting without thermal impact.
Finepart Sweden AB is founded
A dedicated company is formed in Bollebygd to develop, commercialise and support the technology internationally.
Public company and international growth
Finepart later becomes a listed company and expands its product, application and representative network while keeping development and customer validation close to the Swedish headquarters.
Part-to-production capability
Finecut systems now combine precision machine tools, application engineering, process qualification, training and lifecycle support for customers across multiple industries.
